After all the hard work of grooming is done, horse pajamas are a great way to preserve that look for the next day. How do you find the right pajamas to fit your horse and your needs?

Hood
Most commonly used are stretch or lycra based hoods for horse pajamas. A stretchy hood helps to keep mane under control after the time consuming banding or braiding is complete.
There are a variety of sizes, patterns and materials you can choose from. Your most important decision is to determine which size will fit your horse. Different manufacturers will have different sizing options. Most companies size hoods based on horse weight. An average size horse will fit into a medium while slightly larger horses will need a larger size. Make sure you check the sizing information the company offers.
