I think it’s easy for those of us who are back for the horses after a long absence to listen to what others say about us horses, because trust our own senses and intuition. That’s fine, as long as we believe are credible. If not, we could find horse problems on our hands.
Hal was my roommate when I decided to buy two horses and was a supporter enthusiastic. “I had a horse as a child,” he said. “We traveled around the world. He believed even rode to school. “This refers to the couple of years his family had lived in a community of expatriates in Mexico, which was where he had his horse. He also stated that he owned horses when their children grew up and told me several stories about how he had collected around their mini-ranch near Houston, Texas.
Forty years I owned a horse so I am pleased to have someone around This most recent experience. Hal did not work, so it took longer than I have to climb. With the economy in a rapid slide down, I need to stay glued to my computer, so that projects and deliver them in my business. I trust him a lot to ensure that horses are required and whether the exercise was not available.
Every time we went together, but something always happened. Hal saddle the first rider Travis teddy bear thoroughbred horse and became a wild horse. When he had recovered from that (in the body and mind) Chuy I fell on the way home after Hal and I parted ways (I wanted to ride and then I went home). Second, things have become difficult, even before the games. Chuy has media more for selling. Hal had no problem riding two horses, and step time went by himself more and more. Often, the horse returned with breathing difficult days and covered sweat. Chuy ended with rain rot along the line of the strap of the saddle.
Some something was wrong. It was not the experience I expected. I knew I would have to learn to ride and care for the big boys. However, I did not know he was going to get hurt and lose what they had confidence. I bought the DVDs and books, sailed Internet, and essentially tried to absorb all the knowledge that could teach me to ride and meet the horses.
Finally, Little by little, my vision cleared and began to listen to my intuition again. As I saw him work with horses of Hal, soon discovered that was the source of behavior problems. How many chairs clung tight, I had Travis Buck out and get a say about Chuy be mounted. It met force with force, so when Chuy resisted doing what was needed to control, making the horse ready to rebel and seize any what an opportunity to have their own. Hal had no interest basis, and his idea to come into heat at the beginning of the trip was to walk about 100 meters before urging his horse into a gallop.
The conclusion was that Hal was not the gentleman who had claimed to be, whether on land or in the saddle. He could keep his back on the horse, but would not otherwise have the slightest understanding of working with horses effectively. It was dominate and control, and cowboy looking to play at a gallop across the range.
serious problems of this and other led me Hal asked to leave, and after several months of struggle, is finally out. Upon leaving, I found my confidence. It took me over a month of painstaking work to return to Chuy the gentleman who had been when it was purchased. Both horses are much more compatible and ready, both on field and the president. And none of them pulled a muscle or a bruised foot this summer.
I thought Hal when he told me he knew what he was doing and I trusted him to care for horses properly and wisely. He did not, and I fortunately been able to stop the madness before permanent damage was done.
Chuy and Travis told me that something was not, and Hal said that everything was fine. It took me a while to realize that people lie and horses, but I got to the final. I hope story my story is a warning to those whose confidence around horses can not be 100 percent. Do not let your intuition, and not blindly accept what others say about their experience and track all those who work with horses. If you see behavior that is inconsistent with the claims, a pinch on.
