I want to buy a saddle for multiple horses?

Heyyy! Ok, so I take riding lessons and ride lots of different horses, and I hope to find my perfect horse soon-ish. Anyways, all the saddles at my trainers barn are either western saddles, kid saddles, or one dressage saddle (which is what I want to focus on for now) but its like a size 16.5, and I need more like a 17.5. So, I want my own saddle. I only have about $500 to spend, so I was looking at the “new generation” of wintec dressage saddles. Apparently they are supposed to be improved? Would it be worth it to invest in one of those so I can ride multiple horses (of fairly “average build ie. not shark withered tbs, and not round drafts) and possibly my own horse? Or should I deal with what she has and buy a saddle after I get my horse?? Thanks!!
Just wondering, why does everyone hate the cair panels sooo much? I have ridden in a wintec w/cair, and the horses went great. Whats wrong with it?

If I were you, I’d wait until I got a horse first, especially since you are hoping to have one “soon-ish”.

If you can’t wait, and you like the Wintec, you might be able to get one that will fit your future horse and others if you get the easy change gullet system. I have never used a saddle with changeable gullets myself, but I guess they work okay.
