Howdy! Well it all depends on how thick you horses coat is and if he is inside or out more. 600 is a lightweight blanket, good for fall/spring weather, why they call it a sheet… I would go with a heavier blanket no less than a 1200, its not too heavy – about medium weight and it won’t over heat your horse if he’s got a thicker coat.
