Does anyone know how i can indentify my thoroughbred?

i want to find out my thoroughbreds racing name.i live in australia and have been on the australian stud book site but it will cost me 30 bucks just to search his brand. my horse’s brand is a copyright sign ( a ‘C’ with a circle around it) and then he has a 1 over 92 on the other side. meaning he was born in 1992. he is a bay throughbred with a white star. if anyone could help me i would be so grateful.

if you cant use his brand, you could contact his last owner and trace his owners back to the racing stable hecame from and learn his name that way but that might take a while. Personally, id pay the 30 dollars.
