Getting Tied to Tie Bars

The corporate world has its snobs. They frown on men who wear clip on ties and they can spot one, and these are usually the poor guys who hide behind flashy tie bars. I kind of like horses more than riding :/?

Well most of the summer I’ve been working at a horse camp. June (when the camp started) was like the first time I’ve been around horses in a year. After I got better at tacking up and handling horses and stuff, I really started liking what I was doing. I’ve been taking lessons since I started working at the camp, and I’m getting better at riding I just don’t seem to enjoy it as much as just helping around the barn.
This week is the last week of camp, and in September I’m helping with a therapeutic riding class. I might start helping with my instructor’s horse too to get a discount on lessons
Has anybody else ever felt this way about riding…or am I just weird?

I like to ride but I LOVE to be around horses , everything about them . It is like a drug , I have owned horses all my life and would wither and die without them , I have not ridden on a regular basis in years but will spend hours every day just hanging out with our horses . It is sad that most people think horses are only for riding they are so fun just to play with . they like games and can learn tricks like a dog but better !!!
