i am buying a horse for the first time and i dont know what to get, or where to get it cheap, or what kind. i am also looking for a place that will sell cheap shedrow barns 2stalls, preferably a tack room (the horse will be used for trail &pleasure riding, nothing fancy)

Morton and Cleary both make really great aluminum sided barns/sheds, etc. Do a search and you should be able to either find their website, or a local dealer.

As for what you need to start with for the new horse:

-feed bucket
-water bucket (water trough for the pasture)
-halter
-lead ropes (I like the cotton, they don’t burn your hands if the horse pulls)
-bridle, bit, reins, and curb strap
-saddle
-saddle pad (I like the thick felt ones, they really protect the horse’s back)
-all the grooming supplies like hoof pick, curry comb, comb for mane/tail, body brush, face brush, etc
-fly spray for the summer
-wormer (do this every 8 weeks, I do it when I have my horse’s feet trimmed so I don’t forget)
-hay/grain
