For a TWH versatility show horse. Just starting out showing, and plan to do dressage, english pleasure, western pleasure, water glass, model, and maybe judged pleasure ride, TWH over fences, and trail class. So, with a bit of work, do you think she could be a competative show horse?

Oh, some info on her is she is a tennessee walker mare, 6yrs old, 15.1hh, and has been shown before (apparently w/success)
I know, but I am doing TWH dressage, which are normal dressage tests, modified for the special gaits of tennessee walkers. Also, I am going to try any horse I am interested in, but I want an opinion on if she is even worth driving the distance to see.
Okay, I’m going to remind you that my own experience with Walkers is new and still building, but I’ll tell you what I see as a horsewoman and what I’ve noticed so far with Walking Horses.
1. She’s cute. Just overall in general, she is cute.
2. Her canter needs work, but shows a desire to soften and stay steady, which is good (What is it with some Walkers and not cantering right? lol)
3. Her gait is a question mark in my mind. She looked a little pacey in some of the videos, and even when she was gaiting properly she didn’t look like she was set in her speed. Also, I believe, although I’m not certain, that show Walkers are expected to have a flat walk as well as a running walk– she is just ‘dog walking’ in most of her videos. I’m not completely certain on this part though, since I’m still learning.
4. As a dressage horse, she appears to move with enough power and control to allow her to start the basics with you, and she is soft in her response to the rider’s hands.
5. I’m kinda surprised she is considered a successful show horse, of any breed. She seems rather green to me. Not bad, but certainly no better than my son’s mare, who showed at the fair, won a class, but also is by my book very show green (she’s rock solid on trails).
I don’t know what they are asking for her, but I like her well enough that if I were looking for another horse (I’m not, I have too many as it is), I would go and try her out, assuming she isn’t more than 3k. If she’s more than that, then I would assume she is out of a champion mare and by a champion stallion, from a long line of champions.
